Get Furnishings
In order to use the Furniture Bank, our clients must be referred through a referring agency. This referral process allows us to concentrate on the logistics of gathering and giving furnishings while our partners concentrate on assessing the need.
It is our goal to be a community resource for Richmond and the surrounding areas, providing our referring agencies a "one-stop shop" for household furnishings.
Furniture and household essentials are given based on need and inventory available at the time of appointment. Clients are given a "once in a lifetime" shopping trip and their home starter items with Thrift Store value exceeding $600.00!

If you would like to support The Furniture Bank by purchasing some of our non-essential household furnishings, collectibles and retro items, we have items for sale at the following locations:
- our booth at the Marquet Place
- our booth at West End Antiques
- our E-bay store.
- Regularly scheduled Community Yard Sales (next Sale: August 27-28, 2010 - 8:00am - Noon)
These fundraising efforts help to pay the costs of serving 50 households per month. Please visit us!
Items donated to the CARITAS Furniture Bank will be given to clients and used to further the mission of CARITAS.
