The holidays are here! You can make a difference, even while we’re apart. Join us to fill our community with hope and compassion. With your help, we can provide essential services and resources to men and women transitioning from crisis to stability during the holidays. Below are three ways you can make a difference while we stay safe and socially distant.
Shop Our Home for the Holidays Wishlist on Amazon
Put the finishing touches on The Healing Place for Women facility at the CARITAS Center. Collect and donate items on our Amazon Wishlist. Order items online and have them delivered to your home. Come see us during our contactless drop off on December 22, 2 – 4 p.m. during our Jingle Bell Drive Through. For questions, email volunteer@caritasva.org.

Create Giving Tree Gift Bags
Share the spirit of the holidays with our clients by assembling a gift bag with a specific list of items. The bags include snuggly pajamas, socks, and earplugs–little comforts during this time of year. There are also opportunities to purchase items that our clients can share with their children during the holidays. Complete details are listed on our online signup form. Order items online and have them delivered to your home. Drop them off on December 22 during our contactless Jingle Bell Drive Through. For questions, email volunteer@caritasva.org.

Make a Financial Gift
Providing financial support during this time of year is especially helpful. Your gift helps ensure CARITAS continues to meet our clients’ critical needs during a difficult time in their life. Your financial contributions are 100% tax-deductible. Donate before December 31 to be eligible to claim your gift during the 2020 calendar year. How to Deliver Donations
If you are collecting physical donations, please order items to your own home.Keep your items safe and sound until December 22. Join us for a Jingle Bell Drive Through on December 22, 2-4 p.m. at the CARITAS Center (2220 Stockton Street). We’ll have a sweet set contactless up, holiday treats, and our staff dressed to bring some jolly into your day.
