The North Pole Comes to CARITAS

Each December, we host a holiday giveaway for more than 300 residents living at our campuses. This year’s giveaway will take place on Tuesday, December 19th. To contribute items to our participants, see below for what is needed and then register on our online form. Questions? Contact Josh Rockett at jrockett@caritasva.org.

Holiday Cheer Bags 

Holiday Cheer Bags for the Shelter and The Healing Place: Please fill a festive bag with a pair of pajamas and a pair of underwear (panties for ladies, boxers for men). Select from the available sizes on the sign up sheet and let us know how many bags of each size you intend to contribute in the “your answer” field.

Old Navy, Amazon, and Kohl’s are good resources for bulk orders. We will adjust the quantities that are still needed regularly as sign-ups come in. Thank you!

Small flashlights for THPW–FULFILLED!
Journals for THPW and the women’s shelter–FULFILLED!
2024 day planners for Works–FULFILLED!
$20-$25 gift cards for the Recovery Residents (Amazon, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, GrubHub, Family Dollar, 7-11)–30 needed
